ARTIST STATEMENT

Nature is the source of my subjects. That is what I love and that is what I paint. In the studio, I paint with oils or watercolors, while using an impressionistic approach. Inspiration comes from my travels, my experiences and my love for animals and Nature. There is always a story behind each piece of my work. I combine my Yoga experience of calm and energy in my work. As in Yoga, I strive for balance and harmony in my life and in my paintings. My goal is to bring a peaceful feeling to the viewer by connecting them with the elements of water, Earth and sky and the creatures who inhabit these domains.
